That’s kind of accusing someone of being intolerant, for not tolerating intolerance. (i.e. racists, bigots and homo-phobes that cry intolerance when they try to make their abhorrent views the law of the land, and are rejected). Democracy requires compromise by it’s very nature. When one side refuses to compromise the system doesn’t work.

Intetesting, so by your very definition you are unsuitable to serve or participate by the absolute nature of your statement.That is, unless of course you agree that certain things should not be compromised. I guess I am unsuitable since I will not compromise in my support of the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the liberties of the individual recognized in these documents. How about you? By the way, I am not a Tea Party member.

The whole SuperPac thing is disgusting. Stephen Colbert is doing a great job lampooning the situation, but sometimes its hard to laugh as it seems so hopeless. How do we overturn Citizen’s United?

Christmas a la 99%! Actually, I understand it, the best performing equities have been staples throughout the “great recession”. I think, in 2009 to ONLY stocks in the Dow to be positive were McDonald’s and Walmart.

Not bad for an engineering major! Obviously you and I are in agreement about the incredible growth in wealth inequality. Maria today told me about an interesting report she heard about retail sales during the season. The groups doing best are the high end stores…and the dollar stores. This is a reflection, it is believed, that the middle classes are cutting back on their shopping.
