The Latino Community Alliance sponsors this 4 block festival (between
1st and 5th Avenues
on Middlefield Road in Redwood city) where over 35,000 attended
in previous years.
This year's "theme" country is Brazil, so we are the "featured" act.
There will
be a short parade, 2 1/2 blocks down one side of Middlefield and
back down the other
side. We will end behind the Main stage to do our performance
at the end after
the other groups in the parade perform. We also have an opportunity
to perform
on the 2nd stage, later in the afternoon, sometime between 1 and
5pm.
We will have a tent to change and leave our stuff in behind the main
stage which is located
between 1st and 2nd Streets on Middlefield. Please arrive
in the back stage aread behind
the Main Stage (enter at 1st and Middlefield) at 9:00am. We
will assemble for the 10:00am
parade on 2nd street a half block away.
The Parade:
Sunday, Aug. 10, 10:00am
(Please arrive at 9:00am)
